Super Nintendo World opens Friday at Universal Studios Hollywood | FOX 5 DC

It's finally here. You 80s babies out there. Universal Studios Hollywood has officially opened Super Nintendo World, inviting guests to immerse themselves in the land of Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach. Guests enter the theme land through a green pipe that immerse themselves into the magical mushroom kingdom. There are no rules on how to experience the land. The main attraction is the Mario Kart Bowser's Challenge. It's a completely different experience with augmented reality and all the layers and it's nothing that you've ever seen.

You can get coins by tapping punch blocks. You can talk to the characters and get stamps. And don't forget you're in a game. So when you talk to the characters, they know your score. They know how well you're doing. And then you can go over the tap points that I said to find out how you're doing against the competition. Super Nintendo World officially opens today at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Looks like a lot of fun. I know I'm here for this. It's been one hour long it take to go through the whole thing. No question. At least there are no rules. That's my favorite part. Were you big into Nintendo? No, I actually never played video games.

Although the only game I played was Mario Kart. And I'm decent at it. Emphasis on decent. Rainbow Road always throws me off. If you've ever driven in Dallas, Texas, now that they have like overpass over overpass over overpass. It's just like Rainbow Road. Especially during like some storm chasing.

It's kind of fun. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah.
