THE RUSH: March Madness wreaks havoc, yields a shocking Final Four field

The final four is set in the men's NCAA tournament and chances are most of us didn't predict this particular field of four. Four seed UConn, five seed San Diego State and Miami and nine seed Florida Atlantic. You sure didn't. Three of the four teams in this final four are advancing to the semifinals for the first time in program history. Obviously, March Madness is in full swing. Let's see who's taking the turning box form and going beyond the norm to sting back presented by the all new Dodge Hornet. My five seed Miami Hurricanes were down 13 points in the second half of their game against second seed Texas before finding another gear in stinging the long orange.

Jordan Miller was literally perfect scoring 27 points on seven for seven shooting from the field and sinking all 13 of his free throws to help the Canes complete a comeback to beat the Texas log coins 88 to 81. Meanwhile, nine seed Florida Atlantic shock three seed Kansas State in the elite eight thriller that went down to the wire. The house had four players scored double figures while Michael Forrest made four clutch free throws down the stretch to seal the 79 to 76 victory. You got to love that kind of stinging performance whether on the court or on the road. Driving the all new Dodge Hornet allows you to take every moment by swarm. Learn more at dodge.com.

With the playoffs on the horizon, things are heating up in the NBA. After LeBron James 13 game absence due to a torn tendon in his foot, the Lakers got their superstar back against the Chicago Bulls on Sundays where he came off the bench. You did what now? For only the second time in his 20 year pro career LeBron came off the bench. He scored 19 points and grabbed nine boards in 29 minutes, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Bulls who won the game 118 to 108. Things are even worse for the Dallas Mavericks who dropped their fourth straight game in the loss to the Hornets on Sunday. Plus, Lucadonches picked up his 16th technical foul of the year, which means the Mavstar will be suspended for the next game if the foul is not rescinded. And the hits just keep on coming.

Dallas is in a downward spiral since trading for Kyrie Irvin, going 5 and 13 since he joined the team. But what's worse is that when Kyrie arrived, the Mavs were in fourth place in the Western Conference. And now they're 11th, currently out of playing position. It's all bad. Maybe the Earth is spinning off his axis or something. I mean, if the world is flat, it can't do that, but never mind. You know there's some kind of conspiracy for you, alright? Maybe Mark Cuban is trying to have a comeback move.
