DNA solves 1978 'Granby Girl' murder mystery

out of Granby in western Massachusetts where officials have announced a major breakthrough in an unsolved 1978 cold case murder. The woman known simply as Granby girl until today when she was finally identified as 28-year-old Patricia and Tucker. Officials say the breakthrough was helped by advances in forensic technology. Investigators are still working to determine exactly what happened to Tucker. At this stage we do not yet formally have probable cause to charge anyone with Patricia's murder but our hope in holding this press conference here today is to bring renewed attention to this case and to hopefully trigger some additional leads in this investigation. They say Tucker married Gerald Coleman the year before she went missing. He has since died but investigators say he is at minimum a person of interest in the case and are asking anyone with information about him to come forward.
