Ancient beaver fossils rediscovered, named after Buc-ee's
Researchers finally got around to naming a species of ancient beaver found in UT Austin's collections, so it's named after a special Texas staple, Buckeys. It's got a long scientific name that I'm not even going to try to pronounce, but in short, it's a Buckey. Okay, we're going to go with that. One of the researchers say that he was inspired by a Buckeys billboard that reads, this is beaver country. There you have it, that's your rush.
