Students celebrate as FAU Owls head to Final Four

team coverage of March Madness continues with our own Joseph Ojo. He joins us live from FAU's arena where the Owls are expected to celebrate the big win. Joseph. Good morning guys, students here at FAU are on a high. This was a upset win against Kansas State which does advance them on to the final four putting this basketball team on the map and now there's just only two more wins to get that coveted trophy. Students at FAU sharing these videos of their ecstatic celebration following the Owls win which sent them to the final four. To some this was an unlikely run but with the Owls still dancing it makes this moment even sweeter.

It's been so emotional for me. Like I've cried after like every game to be honest with you. This is insane. The Owls have only had a basketball team since the late 80s and have only ever had two tournament appearances. Extremely psyched beyond belief, this is probably one of the most positive moments I've ever had to school. FAU FAU FAU FAU FAU FAU FAU FAU FAU FAU FAU FAU FAU FAU Fans now saying their school is on the map and it's so awesome to see FAU finally getting the recognition that deserves when it comes to uh sports because we're very talented in sports. But why stop at the final four? The big question can the Owls win at all? You guys think you can go to the championship? We wouldn't be fine if you said if we didn't think we could go.

We play team ball. We don't have one player. We all chip in and that's why we win. They relied on one guy. We relied on our team and our coach and that's why we won. NDFAU men's basketball team will take on the winner of that Crayton versus San Diego State Gameback game will be in Houston next Saturday. We're here in Boca Raton.
