Meta announces 10,000 new layoffs

Facebook's parent company Metta announced a new wave of layoffs yesterday. CEO Mark Zuckerberg says the company is slashing 10,000 jobs in recruiting and tech through May and will not fill another 5,000 open positions. The social media giant previously cut 11,000 jobs late last year, amid a downturn in online advertising.
