It could be on some of those overpasses. We did see from some of the previous cities on her tour that some people were looking at the top of parking garages also from different bridges. But again at the tops of these overpasses, they are not a safe place to be. And that is what police want to do. Washington State Patrol says it's already staffed up to handle any fandom. They have plenty of troopers out that can handle the situations that may occur with the events and then obviously other events. Then they have troopers that work south into the county, east county, and over in the metropolitan area, and everybody can travel and, you know, go from married area if they need to assist other troopers. As for those who want to go to the park, the official word from WSP is don't. Definitely if people lined up on the freeway shoulder, much like you see when you go to the airport where people want to wait not in the cell phone parking lot, but on the freeway. It's just not safe. While you could get a look at Lumen from nearby overpasses, WSP says it is not safe for pedestrians or onlookers. Cars are traveling, and accidents could happen. As for nearby Seattle streets, the Seattle Police Department (SPD) isn't giving us an on-camera update on its planning, sending out a statement instead. SPD will enact a comprehensive operational plan to maintain public safety. That includes an increased police presence, traffic management, and enhanced communication. The SPD encourages concert attendees to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement. The Seattle Fire Department also has a public safety plan for pedestrians and visitors during this busy weekend, including Mariners games and the Capitol Hill Block Party in addition to the 70,000 attendees at Lumen on Saturday and Sunday. The fire department has units stationed throughout the city to respond to emergencies as fast as possible, aiming to arrive within five minutes of being dispatched. They reassure residents that even with the expected traffic, getting to the hospital in time for minor cuts or urgent medical attention should not be a problem. For drivers heading into downtown Seattle this weekend, Seattle Fire advises planning for potential delays and recommends using public transportation options like the Washington State ferries to avoid traffic congestion.
