Texas Gov. Greg Abbott launches border task force ahead of Title 42 expiration

Texas Governor Greg Abbott shared a video yesterday of barbed wiring that was installed at the U.S. Mexico border in Brownsville, Texas. In the video post Governor Abbott said other areas will surface for crossing and that those will be wired shut as well. Abbott also said he's deploying 450 National Guard soldiers to the southern border ahead of the end of Title 42 this week. The governor says he plans to use this new border force to close quote hot spots to stop immigration into Texas. The U.
