Cannes Film Festival kicks off with Johnny Depp, 'Jeanne du Barry' and plenty to talk about

Dep is back in the limelight at the opening of the Con Film Festival. His comeback film, Jean Duberry, is opening the prestigious festival. He walked the red carpet, waving to a crowd full of cheering fans. This is his first big film project since his explosive trial last year, where a jury ruled in his favor against his former wife, Amber Heard. A number of big Hollywood blockbusters, including the new Indiana Jones film, are slated to premiere in France during the festival's next 12 days.
