Buffalo marking 1 year since mass shooting at supermarket

Today marks one year since 10 people were shot at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York and a shooting that targeted the black community. Vigils and events are being held throughout the weekend to remember the victims of the attack inside Top Supermarket by an 18-year-old white supremacist who is now serving the rest of his life in prison. An event yesterday helping the community heal. The message that goes out there says you won't keep us down. We will keep on coming together and unified and we will still have the power to move together. Other events include a moment of silence and the chiming of church bells for each of those lost. Governor Huckle has directed flags to fly at half staff and state landmarks will be lit orange to honor the victims.
