Texas A&M anticipates rematch with Kentucky in Semi-Finals

Yeah, yeah, no, no, it meant to get a first rep, you know, making sure we get comfortable in the setting, you know, Rena. Not a lot of practice time, just like 30 minutes or so earlier today. So we had to, you know, get comfortable. Overall game, I think Kentucky's really, really tough. They have some great guards. Obviously got a low post threat as well. I was just an overall great team.

So we're curious to see who will be playing, but Vanderbilt and Kentucky are both great teams. So what do you feel like you learned from that first game? What were you learning after that? Just their style of play. How they play, just that's my first time ever being in a game where I was playing against Coach Cowell or Kentucky or whatever. I think it was a great experience. It was something we all learned from that game. So I think whatever it was, if they win or whatever, we'll try to implement tomorrow. I mean, yeah, during this time, you know, you got to make sure you be smart with how you treat your body.

Make sure you get a lot of fluids in. And yeah, physical match with Kentucky, definitely, you know, with 34 from Kentucky National Player of the Year, a big guy. You know, make sure you just stay, you know, ready for the game and ready for that battle that you're going to have. So yeah, definitely. And that first match, what did you all take away from that? Do you all want to play Kentucky in this? You know, a lot of stuff we kind of, it was kind of self-inflicted. Offensively, we didn't crash the boards enough and defensively, we let them get to any offensive rebounds. And they got second chance points, which helped them get into rhythm.

And honestly, I think we did a great job on 34 last time being physical with him. He didn't really have too many points, but he dominated on the glass still. And, you know, next time we got to make sure that he does get comfortable with that and just make sure he doesn't get in the group offensively either.
