Another strong storm is headed for the Bay Area here's what you can expect

It's cold before we get to the rain and wind tomorrow. It's really this the coldest morning by far because the wind speeds tailed off. Fairfax 29, San Martín 29, Woodside 30, Rohnar Park 30, Palo Alto 30, Clayton and Sonoma about 31. Santa Cruz is 35 and Badega Bay is 36. That's cold, baby, for us. That's really cold. Frost advisory is out and hard freeze warning out north.

That's up in Mendocino County and Lake County. Heck, you might even include parts of the Bay Area in that hard freeze. The low is going to, it's called bomb out. That means the surface low is going to rapidly deepen and it'll go right along the coast, sending in multiple waves. I think there'll be more than three, probably around the Russian River, 40 to 60 mile per hour winds. Snow levels start off very low late tonight and then start to go up with winter storm warnings are already out for the mountains. And wouldn't you know it? If it's Tuesday, it must be another wind and rain event because that's what's happening.

This will be back to back to back Tuesdays when we have big systems here. Wind advisory starts at 11 o'clock tonight and goes through 11 a.m. tomorrow. There are so many 30s. I mean, it's been a long time since I've seen this. The city officially is 42.

52. If they get to 42.49, they will tie a record low for March 27th going back to 1898. So close. 33 Livermore, 33 Palo Alto Airport, 39 Berkeley. Take your pick. There's so many here.

Ponells down to 32. Lafayette's now 32. Clayton bouncing between 31, 32. Dublin's 33. Castro Valley's in there. Hercules 34. Even Hayward and Union City are in the upper 30s.

South Lake Tahoe and Truckee are both at three degrees. I know it gets cold in the mountains, but that's for this time of year and to March. That's amazingly cold. Las Vegas is down to 40. Incredibly cold there. There are lots of 20s up in Mendocino County, Lake County. Some sun, but the clouds are already knocking on the door and they'll continue to increase throughout the day.

So if you have to do something, I need to go out and get a quick nine and see if I do it in the morning because in the afternoon, you're on your own because this system will be developing pretty fast. So the wind will pick up. But morning frost, it's cold, sun then clouds. A lot of that cold air is going to get trapped. So it will be very cool today. Rain and wind return tomorrow. Looks like about an inch to three inches should cover most locations.

There's a little bit of talk from the excessive rainfall folks. The Weather Prediction Center, Napa County, Solano County might be in line for a little bit more rain than this just to heads up on that. It wouldn't surprise me here because this will be a pretty strong front. Not only that, we could get more rain and we'll get a break after probably Wednesday night, Thursday and Friday. But today, 50, 60, sun in the morning, clouds roll in, wind picks up later tonight, and then it'll be rain and winds for tomorrow with highs today, only in the 50s and low 60s.
