Year-to-year inflation down, month-to-month inflation up

Right now pressure on your bank account isn't going away anytime soon. We are paying more for food, energy and medical costs than just a month ago. That's according to the most recent inflation report. While year-to-year inflation is down slightly, month-to-month inflation is up by half a percent. So here's the month-to-month change for food, energy and medical services. So take a look here. The food is the yellow on here.

Prices rose half a percent last month and are up by almost 4% since July. Energy, the line here in blue, that has spiked the last two months up 4% since November and medical care jumped recently as well. At more than a full percent in two months.
