Welcome to Washington! Eric Bieniemy introduced as Commanders new assistant head coach

Well, Justin, the last hour the commanders have introduced their big offseason hire. Eric Biennamy just won a Super Bowl as the offensive coordinator for the Kansas City Chiefs. But now he's in Washington calling the plays and getting the title of assistant head coach. Just an hour ago, the team held a press conference to formally introduce Biennamy. Biennamy was asked why he left the Chiefs for essentially the same job with the commanders. Biennamy said he embraces the challenge. Comfort is the enemy of progress.

Okay? So when it's all said and done with, I don't like being comfortable. So I'm about accepting challenges and moving forward. So this presents a challenge to me. All right? Also it presents a challenge to come and work with such a great head coach and a headman. But on top of that, I'm willing to embrace this journey. Okay? And my job is to embrace this journey with the people that are in this building right now.
