Victims identified in deadly rampage in Mississippi | WNT



The deadly rampage in Mississippi. Six people killed authorities identifying the victims. They say the dead include the suspects, ex-wife, and stepfather. The victim shot at three separate locations. The suspects seen on these surveillance images that are part of a police investigation. He's now in custody and facing possible murder charges. Here's ABC's Faith Aboubet.

Tonight, the Tate County Deputy Coroner, identifying all six victims who died in a mass shooting in the small town of a Kabbutla, Mississippi. Among them, Deborah Crum, the ex-wife of suspect Richard Crum. Crum allegedly shot four of the people just behind his own home. His stepfather, George McCain, George's two friends, and George's sister, Linda. Linda's daughters, Tammy and Debbie, are devastated. We're sad. We're shocked.

We're shocked. We're going to miss our mom. Linda's daughters tell us they saw no signs of tension in the home. In fact, Crum was the stepfather's caretaker. Uncle George was so good to him and took care of him. They had just shared breakfast the day before. We want to know what would trigger a person to do such an evil thing.

The shooting rampage began around 11 a.m. Friday, about 30 miles south of Memphis. And over the course of several hours, police say Crum shot his victims at three separate locations, including a convenience store. This surveillance image of the harrowing moments inside, now part of the investigation. Without being able to say, this is what triggered this, or this is why this happened, this is what's the real scary part. And now two sisters preparing to bury their mother and uncle.

They would give people a picture off their back. They never met a stranger. And many people loved them because they were so kind. And tonight, Crum remains in jail on one count to first degree murder. But authorities say more charges are pending. Whit. Faith Abubak, thank you.
