New charge for student in death of bullied New Jersey teen

There's a new charge tonight in connection with the suicide death of a 14-year-old bullied student. Prosecutors in Ocean County, New Jersey, say that one of the four juveniles already charged is now charged with conspiracy to commit aggravated assault in addition to harassment. This comes just weeks after 14-year-old Adriana Kush took her own life after she was bullied and beaten in a video that was widely shared online. It happened at Central Regional High School in Bayville and today Governor Murphy spoke about the case. I was asked basically is everything on the table and the answer is it has to be on the table. We do have I think the nation's strongest anti-bullying law. It's pretty clear we need to do more and we're open-minded to doing more.

The district superintendent resigned since the incident and all of the teens charged have been released pending future court appearances.
