Jeremy Renner shares new details about recovery after snow plow accident l GMA

Jeremy Renner's road to recovery a month and a half after his snow plow accident. The Avengers star is now giving fans an update on his rehab. Trevor Alt has the details. Good morning Trevor. Good morning George. So this is a different type of superhero actor work out than we're used to seeing. This is a small glimpse into what's likely a very long road to recovery for Jeremy Renner, but he seems committed to making that journey happen.

Let's give him an L. This morning the Avengers star Jeremy Renner sharing new details of his recovery after being crushed by a snow plow, posting this video on his Instagram story receiving treatment from an electric muscle simulator which applies an electric current to help with impaired muscle function. I don't know someone's in front of my house on the ground they got run over by a snow cat he's been crushed. It's been seven weeks since the Hawkeye star was critically injured early New Year's Day. Yeah he's got broken ribs he's probably got punctured months he's in rough shape I mean he's in rough shape. Renner had been trying to help his nephew stuck in the snow when that 14 thousand pound snow cat like this one he posted last year ran him over breaking more than 30 bones. Renner needing airlifted to the hospital requiring several surgeries.

But the actor has remained upbeat in social media posts since this video showing his mom and sister washing his hair. For a shower definitely weak or so. Gross. Raising the ICU staff for caring for him and beginning this journey and writing morning workouts resolutions all changed this particular New Year's spawned from tragedy for my entire family and quickly focused into uniting actionable love. He's even still working to promote his TV shows mayor of Kingstown and the upcoming Disney Plus show Renervations writing thank you for your patience while I am in the shop now working on me. And fellow Avenger star Evangeline Lilly has said she visited Renner at his home this month and he was in a wheelchair but he was mobile he was laughing with his friends she called him a legend and said his recovery so far is a miracle. Guys seem like you're gonna be okay about that.
