Air India reveals orders for 470 Boeing, Airbus jets

President Biden announced a new multi-billion dollar deal for more than 200 Boeing planes. The deal with Air India is the third biggest in the company's history. Air India will buy 190 Boeing 737 Maxes, 20 Boeing 787s and 10 Boeing 777s Xs. Altogether, the 220 planes have a list price of nearly $34 billion. The order also includes the option to buy an additional 70 planes down the road. In making the announcement, President Biden said the sale will support more than one million jobs across 44 states.
