A Russian missile attack has killed at least seven people, including a six-year-old child. Videos circulating online captured these chilling images of the blast in the center of Chernihiv. Some of the victims were heading to church to observe a religious holiday. Dozens were injured.

You can see how the force of the blast caused devastation in this entire area. Shards of metal piercing everything. We're told a father and son inside this vehicle were killed. Russia targeting a drone demonstration event happening inside that theatre, with ads for the event posted on social media.
Valery, the commander of a Ukrainian drone unit, inside when the missile hit. It was only one second, yeah. And after that you don't understand what happened. Many victims, including at least 13 children, were in other buildings or on the busy streets nearby. Inside the local children's hospital we met Yaroslav. Aged 10, covered in shrapnel wounds. His dad killed in the attack.
And 14-year-old Andriy on his computer at home when his window exploded in. The Russian people who did this, he says, are sick in their heads. And tonight doctors telling us two other young girls are in a critical condition. Ukrainian President Zelensky calling Russia a terrorist state.
