Summary:

A convicted baby killer nurse will never walk the streets again. And you will spend the rest of your life in prison. After a trial that lasted nine months, a jury convicted former nurse Lucy Letby in the murder of seven babies and the attempted murder of seven more. The crimes took place in the neonatal unit of the Countess of Chester Hospital, about 20 miles from Liverpool, England. Lucy Letby was entrusted to protect some of the most vulnerable babies. Little did those working alongside her know that there was a murderer in their midst. The victims were killed by injections of air or insulin, or by being force-fed milk.

There was premeditation, calculation, and cunning in your actions. Upon searching her house, police say they found a note in Letby's diary that said in part, I killed them on purpose because I'm not good enough to care for them, and I am evil. I did this. The judge sentenced Letby to a whole life order, which in the UK means a life sentence without the possibility of parole. Letby's youngest victim was just one day old.
