President Joe Biden made a stop in Philadelphia this week to make a clean energy announcement. There, he visited a shipyard where union workers are building a new offshore wind vessel. Our DC correspondent, Rashad Hudson, has more.

President Biden made his sixth trip to Philadelphia this year, this time to boast about clean energy manufacturing. Together, we're transforming the country. The president toured the Philly Shipyard where union workers are building a vessel that will help build offshore wind farms. The first vessel of its kind that's made in America, American owned, American operated. President Biden also announced the first offshore wind lease sale in the Gulf of Mexico, which he says will have enough clean energy potential to power nearly 1.3 million homes. And my dad, notwithstanding what the other guy said, windmills do not cause cancer. The White House says Bidenomics is fueling the country's clean energy future, but Republicans say it's only making things more expensive. Every time somebody goes to the grocery store, they're feeling it. And if he wants to call that Bidenomics, then he's taking responsibility for what is a very uncertain economic atmosphere. West Virginia Republican Senator Shelley Moore Capito says the administration's clean energy goals are not realistic. I think transitions are where this administration has really fallen short. If we're going to make a transition, that's fine, but let's get real here. Despite GOP opposition, the White House says the president is delivering on his clean energy promise. Reporting in Washington, Rashad Hudson.

President Biden's visit to the Philly shipyard highlights the administration's push for clean energy and job creation. The debate over 'Bidenomics' and its impact on the economy continues between Democrats and Republicans.
