Latest on bills to change Texas gun laws

So, May 24th will mark one year since a gunman killed 19 children and two teachers in Uvalde. Nearly every day since, the grieving families have pleaded for gun laws in Texas to change. A bill to enhance background checks, another to expand safe storage requirements on guns, and a third that would raise the age to purchase an AR-15 from 18 to 21, none of those have made it out of a House committee. A vote on any of them appears unlikely. However, a bill banning red flag laws, that one is also stalled in that same House committee. A few bills that do increase penalties for felons who are found to be in possession of guns, they are still making their way through the legislature.
