Travis Scott accused of punching man in NYC club

Now rapper Travis Scott is wanted questioning by the NYPD after a man claimed he was punched in the face at a nightclub in Midtown. I witnessed news reporter Michelle Charlesworth is live at Club Nebula in Midtown with developing details. Michelle. Yeah, we're here at Club Nebula on West 41st Street and this concerns rap mega star Travis Scott. Whatever happened happened at 3 30 this morning. A man says he was hit on the left side of the face with a closed fist and now police want to talk to Travis Scott. This is Club Nebula at 41st in Broadway where Travis Scott was early this morning.

Police want to talk to him about an alleged assault of a sound engineer in his 50s who was not injured and refused medical care. There are no visible signs of harm according to police, but they say he alleges that Scott hit him. Travis Scott is world famous for his rap music. His fatherhood with Kylie Jenner. They've had two babies together and he's also known for an outdoor concert in Houston in 2021 at which 10 people, including a nine year old boy, died when concertgoers rushed the stage. The stampede ended up hurting many others as well. This latest news is simply an effort by the NYPD to talk to Scott about what happened.

All this happened about nine hours ago. Allegedly about $12,000 worth of damage was also done by someone inside of this club to a video screen and a speaker at this point. It looks like police are investigating this as a possible misdemeanor assault criminal mischief as well. Travis Scott did perform.
