It set us back and in a state that deals with an epidemic of violent crime, particularly gun related homicides. This is the sort of thing that needs to basically be buried in part of the ashy perfistry. Under the Missouri law, local law enforcement agencies could be fined $50,000 for enforcing federal gun laws. Kansas City and St. Louis took legal action to prevent enforcement of the law last year.
