Check in on our latest buzz in the entertainment world. Ladies and Mike from 1 to 5 1 to Buzz, joining us live. Good morning. Morning. Morning, guys. Good morning. All right, we were just listening to Chaka Khan, and that's because, well, she is very much in the headlines.

She had a big, big ol' oak tree and just threw shade over everybody after this list. She went off on Rolling Stone magazine. So a couple months ago, they put out this list of the 200 best singers of all time. And she made the list at 29, which honestly, I think is a good showing, right? Totally. Well, she sat down and did a podcast with Los Angeles magazine, and they knew they could get her all fired up, and they just started just throwing fuel on the fire to see how she would react. And so they started telling her the numbers that different people fell on the list to see how she would react. And so they were like, you know, Mariah Carey was number five, and I am going to clean up the language and just summarize, basically, what Chaka Khan said.

But basically, she was like, she must have paid for her spot. Wow. And then they were like, well, Adele came in at 22, and then Chaka Khan was like, I quit. I'm out. I'm done. But the best part of the entire thing is that Beyonce came in before her, right? And she literally says, well, you know what? I like Beyonce. She's got a lot of potential.

As if it were 2001 and Beyonce. A lot of potential? And that's the child. I believe she added to that by saying she could make it at some point. Yeah, like, honestly, no matter how you feel about Beyonce, she's one more Grammys than anyone else. She is an icon of the generation. She has sold millions of albums and Chaka Khan's like, you know, she's got potential. Oh my gosh.

It's wild. Ah, I see why she's hot a little bit. Yeah. Yeah. She is. She is. I'm sure.

Here's the thing. I love Chaka Khan. She gave us a lot of hits. She hasn't been the same since Rufus ducked out of the whole situation. If we're being totally honest, but why is she so mad? Like she came from Mary J. Blige, who has successfully covered one of her songs. Sweet thing.

She didn't. Which by the way, we can't tell you what she said about Mary J. Blige because it's not television nor radio friendly. Wow. Yeah, no, no, no, no. You would have to pay for a subscription fee to hear those. Lots of extroverts.

You know, like I don't, she's still in the top 30 of the greatest singers of all time. Why are you mad? Be, if you're Celine Dion, you should be mad that you were left off the list. Yeah. Yeah. Right. Right. Totally.

Right. Totally. Unbelievable. All right. Other thing here now, social media. A lot of people just taking a pass or getting out of social media or putting their accounts on the freeze here. 21 year old singer, Billie Eilish says she's done.

She's deleted all of her social media apps. Yeah. She deleted them off her phone. Now they still exist. So I think her people, like her management company is running them still because there's like professional pictures and stuff up there. But she did an interview with Conan O'Brien of all people and was talking about how, you know, when she was growing up as a preteen and a teen, she loved the internet. She turned to it because those were her people.

But as she's gotten older, she's not as comfortable with it because she doesn't like seeing videos of herself. And then she talked about how she's very gullible and she believes everything she sees and reads on the internet. And she knows that's not healthy. So rather than to try to sort through all that, she's just going to remove herself from the situation. And it's kind of a really big deal because when Billie Eilish was first starting out, Instagram is how she got to be known. Like that was her platform. And she amassed all these fans.

And that's how she got noticed. That's sometimes you just got to take a check. You got to check out for a while. Yeah. And I didn't realize that not everything on the internet is true. I thought that I thought everything on the internet is true. You know, at least she can acknowledge it.

And the best part about it is she has people to pay to handle her social media now. Unlike us, when we check out of social media, you know, it just kind of sits there. It goes fake and people forget. Travis just doesn't have social media. Yeah. I even did it. And I do use Twitter.

I am active-ish on Twitter. But Instagram ticked it. Nah. I don't. Travis did like one of my tweets yesterday. And I've also accomplished to make Travis InstaLitravis a hashtag on Instagram. So you can just search it.

I love that. And it just pops up at this point. See? I had to- Corey, you're a lot of the same. Yeah. I don't know. A lot of something. I don't know if it's the same.

We have a presence by not having a presence on Instagram. All right, guys. Have a great weekend. We'll see you on Monday. Bye, friends. Yeah. See you later.

You can listen to Listen Mike every weekday morning on 105.1, The Buzz. All right.
