American Airlines announces new family seating policy

Well, Charlotte's biggest airline is dropping certain seating fees. American Airlines new customer service plan guarantees kids 14 and under can sit with parents or an adult for free. So let's go over the details of this new plan. It's going to be no additional costs and that's going to be including basic economy tickets as well. There are some requirements to pay attention to here though. Everyone has to be booked in the same reservation to be able to take advantage of family seating. Also available seating has to be available in the first place due to how many children you're flying with.

And then this last one here, the original flight can't be switched to a smaller aircraft after booking that will also guarantee the availability of those seats.
