SpaceX Crew-6 astronauts arrive in Florida

partnership is growing and this team has been training for years that reality is coming to light here very soon and the excitement is growing people just cannot wait for this launch to happen so we're going to zoom in on that launch pad so this team is made up of four men from three different countries and they are ready to take off from right here at Kennedy Space Center Launch Pad 39A. From Texas to Florida it was a smooth arrival at Kennedy Space Center jumping off the jet and jetting into their next adventure. It's just incredibly exciting to be here. Here's who's on board the Crew 6 mission from the United States Commander Stephen Bowen who's making his fourth trip to space. He's a veteran who served on three shuttle missions alongside three others on their first trip to the ISS. US pilot Woody Hoburg and from the United Arab Emirates mission specialist astronaut Sultan Al-Niyadi and from Russia mission specialist cosmonaut Andrey Fediyev. We are ready to fly we're ready to go we just have to do it now.

All their backgrounds and languages may be different they're a team focused on a successful six months aboard the International Space Station. I think we are ready physically mentally and technically and we can't wait to launch the space and conduct the mission. A mission exploring space conducting hundreds of science experiments and bringing the world closer as they go out of this world and into a new atmosphere. We know we have a lot of work ahead of us on the ISS and we are excited and ready to get to work. And this crew is set to blast off this weekend around 2 a.m. on a Sunday morning and all of these missions are really about science.

So coming up later tonight at six we're going to break down what science experiments this team cannot wait to get started on. Live at KSC, Esther Bauer, Fox 35 News.
