Lawrence: Fox hosts’ texts reveal they didn’t believe Trump’s election lies
Today, the same day that portions of the grand jury report in Georgia, we made public showing a unanimous finding by the grand jurors that there was no voter fraud in the state of Georgia. A legal brief in the Dominion Voting Systems lawsuit against Fox was filed, adding to the massive body of evidence that Rupert Murdoch knowingly allowed the Fox network to promote Trump lies about voter fraud, including specific lies about the Dominion Voting Systems Company. Trump lawyer Sidney Powell told lies about election fraud and about Dominion Voting Systems after the election, which were immediately identified as lies on this program, but supported as the truth on Fox, even though Fox hosts knew that Sidney Powell was lying. Dominion's brief today reveals Fox's 8 p.m. host, Tucker Carlson, telling Fox's 10 p.m.
host, Laura Ingraham, quote, Sidney Powell is lying, by the way, to which Laura Ingraham responded, Sidney is a complete nut. No one will work with her. Her ditto with Rudy. Rupert Murdoch privately referred to the position his network was, the poison his network was spewing as really crazy stuff. The Dominion brief concludes Fox knew from the top down, Fox knew. The Dominion brief reveals the Fox hosts opposition to fact checking, page 31. In their group text thread, Carlson pointed Hannity to a tweet by Fox reporter Jackie Heinrich.
Heinrich was fact checking, a tweet by Trump that mentioned Dominion and specifically mentioned Hannity's and Dobb's broadcasts that evening discussing Dominion. Heinrich correctly fact checked the tweet, pointing out that top election infrastructure officials said that there is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes or was in any way compromised. Carlson told Hannity, please get her fired. Seriously, what the F, I'm actually shocked. It needs to stop immediately. Like tonight. It's measurably hurting the company.
The stock prices down, not a joke. That's Tucker Carlson worrying about the stock price of Fox, not the truth. Sean Hannity then complained to Suzanne Scott, the boss of the network, who then relayed Sean Hannity's complaints about fact checking to other Fox executives saying, Sean texted me, he's standing down on responding, but not happy about this and doesn't understand how this is allowed to happen from anyone in news. She meaning Heinrich has serious nerve doing this. And if this gets picked up, viewers are going to be further disgusted. By the next morning, Heinrich had deleted her fact checking tweet. The Dominion 178 page brief proves repeatedly that Fox knew that they were lying about an election stolen by Dominion voting machines.
Five days after the election was called for Joe Biden, Tommy Firth, the producer for Laura Ingram Show, texted, this Dominion shit is going to give me an effing aneurism. Here is Sean Hannity presenting Sidney Powell when he knew and everyone at Fox knew and Rupert Murdoch knew she was lying. We've got evidence of corruption all across the country in countless districts. The machine ran an algorithm that shaved votes from Trump and awarded them to Biden. They used the machines to trash large batches of votes that should have been awarded to President Trump and they used the machine to inject and add massive quantities of votes for Mr. Biden. Every word of that was a lie.
Everyone at Fox knew it was a lie every time she told that lie. Here is Tucker Carlson presenting a guest attacking the demoting voting systems company when Tucker Carlson and everyone at Fox knew that everything this guy said was always a lie. Well, of course, you will likely recognize our next guest. His name is Mike Lindell. He runs my pillow. He advertises every night on this show and across Fox News. He's one of our biggest sponsors and we are grateful for that.
He is sponsoring free speech when he does it. With this particular thing that's going on now, I've been all in trying to find the machine fraud and we've found it. We have all the evidence. So all these outlets that have been calling me from the Washington Post, New York Times, every outlet in the country, they go, Mike Lindell, there's no evidence and he's making fraudulent statements. No, I have the evidence. I dare people to put it on. I dare Dominion to sue me because then it would get all faster.
