Gondolas stranded as canals dry up in Venice
was the last time you were in Venice because apparently, you know those canals that usually the gondolas ride in, they don't have much water, look at this. Yep, you need that. They don't have much water these days. The whole thing is recording record low water levels on Sunday. The water only reaching a little over two feet in depth. Venice's traditional sailors and public transport, they're experiencing major disruptions as a result. The local tide monitoring authority there is blaming the low water levels on dry weather and tidal changes.
You know we were talking this morning, usually we hear about record flooding. Now this year in February they got the problem with not enough rain. It just seems like it's just like a, you know we got these massive changes in weather and it affects it whether it's flooding or it's being dried out.
