This is the first time in 100 years the L I double are is expanding service. The L R R is the busiest commuter railroad in North America and now Grand Central Madison will link the rest of the region to Long Island.

We will use it very often. 274 additional trains will be added each weekday, a 41 percent increase in service system wide. Well, that would be perfect because we do have to wait what about 30 minutes for each train. The new terminal was built under Grand Central stretching from 43rd to 48th Street. Governor Kathy Hockel, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and MTA Chair, Janelle Lieber, took the ride to Jamaica station Sunday. One of the smoothest mass transit rides I've ever had. Many are anticipating a much smoother commute from Jamaica station to the east side of the city.

Penn stations is a hassle, so I would just take a cab. Think about what you can do. Not to 20 minutes, 40 minutes, 80 minutes. I will be able to have breakfast sitting down instead of having my coffee. But other Long Island commuters say the changes will actually lengthen their commute, some by an hour or more. Writers on the Oyster Bay branch have launched a petition saying they've been neglected in the new schedules. There will no longer be any time connections waiting for you to transfer.

So trains will just run, you know, and they'll just come in, load up and leave. As for tomorrow, all 11 branches of the LI double R will offer service to Grand Central Madison in midtown.
