Amid trade rumors, Patrick Kane continues the best stretch of the season

Another day another Patrick Kane trade rumor this one comes from the New York Post saying the Rangers are in the mix to acquire the forward. Meanwhile Kane just keeps playing the best hockey of the season even as that March 3rd deadline years and the rumors continue to swirl. That included another memorable performance on Wednesday. Kane scored two goals against the Stars in Dallas as the Blackhawks rallied from a 3-0 deficit to win 4-3. He now has seven goals in the last four games not bad considering he had nine in the previous 50 this season. So what's fueling this great stretch? Is it the trade deadline? Kane discussed that after the victory. No I don't know it's just you know I think all of a sudden you get going and start feeling good start feeling confident and like I said I was beneficiary of a few plays tonight and you know even even the last couple games too so I think things are just clicking.

The Blackhawks have four games left before the deadline. Their next coming against the Sharks in San Jose on Saturday. It's part of a four game road trip so the Hawks will not be home until they face the Stars on March 2nd. Larry Hawley WGN News now.
