We are hearing from soccer superstar, Lionel Messi, who has taken the US by storm. Victor Ackendo with what the World Cup winner is saying about all that messy mania.

Lionel Messi has only been with Inter Miami for five weeks, played in just six games, and he's already scored nine goals and his impact off the field equally impressive. He just spoke with the media for the first time, saying he feels very welcome, he loves the support from fans and fellow teammates, and is happy with his decision to join the club. In his short time in the MLS, he's changed the landscape of soccer in the United States.

Fans line up outside the stadium just to see him drive in. His jersey, already the highest selling in the history of the MLS online store, ticket sales are through the roof. On Saturday, they're playing for their first title, the League's Cup against Nashville. Tickets sold out in eight minutes. They usually cost around 20 bucks, while the cheapest seat to the final, $422. Now, Messi did say that he's still adjusting to Florida's heat and humidity, and as someone who's lived there their entire life, I can tell you that is going to take some time. But that's how he's playing while he's adjusting.
