WHO to official call the end to COVID-19 pandemic

Today is a day that will be marked in history. At midnight, the World Health Organization will officially end the public health emergency for COVID-19. COVID, of course, turned the world upside down. Yeah, it changed everything. Our everyday lives in so many ways. Healthcare, technology, work life, balances. Every aspect of living has been made anew.

The fast development of emergency vaccines really helped the United States and nations around the world protect people from getting deathly ill from COVID. In Colorado, more than 12 and a half million doses were given out. And a lot of Coloradans lost family members to COVID as well. More than 15,000 people died since it started back in 2020, according to the state health department. Yeah, nationwide, the CDC reports 1.1 million people have died due to COVID complications.
