Jalen Brunson expresses disappointment at Game 6 defeat, laments late turnover | SNY

Jitlin just, you know, taking these guys to six and then falling short at the end, just wondering where your mind is at after a game like that. Got to give them a lot of credit. Yeah, they didn't, got to give them a lot of credit. They didn't play like an eight seed at all. I mean, they're unbelievable. So they're almost a threat for them in that organization. Like the way we fought this past a couple games, down two with the ball.

I got to give us a chance to even get a shot attempt. And the turnover is unacceptable. So yeah, it's tough. I'm sure you saw Yanis' quote after the Bucks were eliminated about there's no failure in sports. I mean, do you view it that way? That losing here isn't a failure because of what you got, did to get here? Or is this like such a disappointment that it's a failure? Yeah, it's, it can go either way. It just depends on how you view it. I think for me, we did a lot of great things this season.

We obviously want to continue to keep playing and have the opportunity to. It stings a little bit. It's definitely a learning experience, but if you don't win, you lose. Yeah. How are you feeling about this organization moving forward? Really happy to be part of this organization. New York has been amazing. And the fans have been amazing.

It's been a really great experience for myself and my family. And I'm already excited about next year. It's going to be fun. We have a lot to prove to each other as teammates. We've got to use this as we move forward. But New York is a great year for us. And I kind of said it throughout this series.

And even when things aren't looking great, you know, you always have to keep your confidence. And as we move forward, obviously we did it the season we wanted to. But keep working on your game. Keep getting confidence as a player and as teammates. And as we move forward, we just got to keep sticking together like we did this year. Jalen, obviously an emotional day for Josh with what happened, you know, the birth of his sons and to come and play today. What was it like for you to get to play with him again? And kind of what was the day like for him as you experienced it? Really happy for him.

He's going to be an unbelievable father. Yeah, it's just, I don't really, obviously don't really know what he's going through. But it's probably a great feeling. Tonight for him was a win-win situation. We win, we get another chance. Obviously, we lose, he gets to go home and see his two beautiful boys. So yeah, it's just, it's a really, really amazing time for him.

So I'm really happy for him and his family.
