‘Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3’ kicks off summer movie season with $114 million opening

We can box office Marvel and Disney's Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3 brought in $114 million in North American ticket sales. That was a little below expectations of $120 million to $150 million. Guardians brought in another $168 million in international markets, bringing the global haul to $282 million for its first three days in theaters.
