DeSantis signs bill giving newly appointed board more control of former Reedy Creek district

New development in the ongoing fight between Governor Ron DeSantis and Disney. Today, the governor signed a bill that will give his newly appointed board more control of the former Reedy Creek District. The new legislation nullifies agreements. The former Disney-led board made them strip them of the power before they were ousted. Now, this bill focuses on land use, giving the new board a say in future developments. This all comes as the entertainment giant is now suing the governor and the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District Board. And the board is suing Disney as well.

Now, the company has yet to comment on these developments.
