Biden marks one year since racist attack at Buffalo supermarket
As we remember the victims in Allen, there are other victims to remember, too. Today marks one year since another mass shooting, this one at a grocery store in Buffalo, New York. Ten black people were killed in this racially-motivated attack. President Biden marked the day with an op-ed about gun violence. He says he's doing everything he can. And he called on Congress to do more. The president also talked about the mass shooting in Uvalde, which happened 10 days after Buffalo.
Nineteen children and two teachers were killed there. The president says in the years since these tragedies, the country has experienced more than 650 mass shootings and well over 40,000 deaths because of gun violence.
