New details on migrants found in train near Uvalde



New details tonight after Border Patrol agents found more than a dozen migrants in two train cars. Some had died. Chopper 5 captured this video from the scene Monday or rather Friday night. A viewer sent us this video moments after Border Patrol discovered the migrants. Someone called 911 just before four yesterday afternoon reporting that people were suffocating. We have learned a total of 17 migrants were found in two different train cars, two women and 15 men. Two men died.

They were from Honduras. The Union Pacific train was traveling from Eagle Pass to San Antonio when it stopped near Canipa. Highway 90 was closed in both directions at FM 27 30 for hours while several agencies investigated. Four victims were flown into hospitals in San Antonio. Six others were taken to hospitals in the area. Homeland Security is still investigating. Police.
