KPRC 2 Sports team gives walk and talk tour of 2023 NFL Scouting Combine

Hi everybody, hello from Indianapolis. We are inside the convention center on the eve of the NFL Combine KPRC2 is here. Hey hi everybody There we go, and then right over here all the teams are set up We'll go to there in just a moment, but inside this place tomorrow It is going to be rockin full of media teams start arriving players will start filtering through as well We'll hear from GM Nick Kiserio and also D'Amico Ryan's Over the next couple of days Tuesday and Wednesday, so we'll make the rounds, but well look at look We just bumped into yeah, it's a our Texan's insider Aaron Wilson just kidding We actually flew up together today, and we are here for you're gonna be here several days I'm here for the next almost three days a lot of covers. We're gonna hear from Nick Kiserio D'Amico Ryan's You've covered these year and a year out. This is kind of a cool Period of time kicks off the offseason great setup here, and you think about the offseason This is really pivotal offseason for the Texans And it is really the epicenter of the NFL and this is the time you start talking about drafts You're talking about free agency and they actually have draft capital and sorry cap room lots to play We're interesting offseason for the Texans so Nick Kiserio will talk Tuesday at 1145 Eastern So 1045 central time on Tuesday, and then the next day Wednesday.

We'll actually hear from D'Amico Ryan's He's scheduled for 1 p.m. Eastern noon central time on Wednesday We will carry those live I imagine on click to use and calm of all the details for you We're also gonna have a live streaming show Aaron, and I will be here probably in this room I'm guessing at about 145 Eastern 1245 central time is what we're shooting for tomorrow so that'll be after Kiserio talks and Looking forward to that hearing what he says at the podium It should be a lot of nuggets very interesting comments probably from Nick Kiserio And you think about all the situations with this team There's an opportunity for them to improve and I think that's what makes it exciting to hear from Nick Kiserio All right, Aaron's got work to do I'm gonna continue the tour But they want to bump into chicken with Aaron so you're gonna be hard at work for click to use to comment all your other Endeavors with the NFL this guy is so connected on a national level all across the NFL And we're happy to have one part of the Texans click to use the com team. They'll do interviews They'll tape a lot of their programming for their website and their radio Texans radio shows as well here Right here on the backside Again all the other the New York Jets the Jets are right there the giant are right behind them Everywhere you go is national football league All right, this is the where everybody does their show. This is the main studios for all the networks that are here Here's the NFL network. I believe This is gonna be where they do their scouting show. They got their set up right here Very cool. They'll be live and then you see NBC Sports Peacock pro football talk is here and CBS Sports is here. So various networks are here.

I also want to show you The podiums now these are the podiums where everybody's gonna come in and talk Just to give you an idea each podium has a number And it goes all the way down right down here. So here's what's happening starting tomorrow Tuesday All these coaches and general managers are slated to talk. They know they're gonna be at a certain podium at a certain time They will talk right there. They'll be looking at here to the cameras and the reporters will be here Wherever the Texans are gonna be talking. We'll be here with them. Anyway, it just kind of goes and swings all the way around This is a podium number six and seven and eight So they've got a lot going all these will be active at the same time. You got the speakers right here.

So it's gonna be Pretty noisy in here tomorrow. I would imagine but it'll be pretty crowded Here inside of the heart of the media center We're a lot of broadcasts are going on. So anyway, that's kind of lay of the land here inside the media center at the Indiana Indianapolis Convention Center where it all goes down. We are happy to be here for a few days and Bringing you some Texans coverage. It's a big offseason for the Texans as Aaron mentioned Nick Aserio has big decisions to make along with new head coach to Miko Ryan and the staff They've got a lot of draft capital plenty to spend. How will they make those picks? Which direction will they go? We're gonna be talking a lot about that Later in the week the quarterbacks will work out. I'll be back in used to that Aaron will be here and a lot of people are waiting to see When Bryce Young of Alabama measures in will he measure six feet? Maybe maybe not How much will he weigh? You know, that's been my stance on Bryce Young great college quarterback I just don't know how durable he will be in the national football league.

I might be totally wrong But he's a great college quarterback and I think he could be a good NFL quarterback Maybe a great one, but his size is certainly a concern for me Anyway, want to check in that's the behind the scenes look here inside the media center.
