Hepburn's status TBD vs. Purdue

Los Contos men have a huge game against fifth ranked Purdue later this week. It's senior day for Tyler Wall and a win would go a long way for UW's NCAA tournament hopes. But Greg Gard might have to do it without his starting point guard Chucky Hepburn. He left Sunday's game with an apparent knee injury and didn't return. Now he didn't practice today and his status is up in the air for Thursday. But if he doesn't go, Greg Gard has confidence in his backup Kamari Maggi. The last 20 days has really opened the eyes of not only me but our staff.

We've commented on it in our meetings several times and it started in practice. I think he's become more and more comfortable, more accustomed to our vocabulary, how we have to do things. It's shown in games but it started what we've seen in practice.
