What bargains to participate in during President's Day sales

Ants, are you scooping up any sales this weekend? Of course you are. President's Day is coming up on Monday. Vickens 5 Consumer Reporter Nicole Kahn explains why you don't want to wait and what bargains to buy. This is really the last big sales holiday until Memorial Day in May. The next two months are going to be slow for savings. So look at department stores, electronic stores and home improvement stores for the best bargains this weekend. Now is the time to look at purchasing any big ticket items you need like appliances or mattresses.

Inflation is affecting the deals out there, but you can still find some super sales. You're going to see 70% off. You're going to see 80% off. You're going to see more modest discounts at 50% off. But the problem comes with the starting price. So if the starting price is higher, then obviously those discounts are not going to reach as far as they would have a couple of years ago. So even though inflation has kind of gotten better, you still may not see the sale prices that we would have in like 2020 or even 2021.

So it's definitely, you may end up paying more than what you would like to, but there's still going to be really good deals and really good savings. Expect fewer sales in March and April, but to find bargains during that time, set alerts on items you want for price drops and sign up for emails from your favorite retailer so you are notified of any sales.
