Super Nintendo World Is Open
Well, how else would you open up Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood but with dancing Mario's? Fireworks and other grand displays marked the unveiling of the new theme land. Game creators Shigeru Miyamoto joined his characters Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach on stage for the reveal. Being at the park allows you to step inside of the iconic game's mushroom kingdom where you can get a power-up watch or see what all the fuss is for yourself by finally dropping down a warp pipe. There's also Super Mario themed food at the Toadstool Cafe featuring Mario and Luigi burgers, Super Mushroom Soup, Super Star Chicken Salad and Mystery Block Tiramisu with the chocolate power-up. The brand new park is now open to the public which also saw stars of the upcoming Super Mario Bros. movie including Chris Pratt, Keegan-Michael Key, Brie Larson and Anderson Pock also attend. Quite the way to boost up the new animated film scheduled to be released only in theaters April 7.
