Netflix docu-series on the Murdaugh murders out Wednesday

All righty trending this morning. A new Netflix documentary dropping overnight. It's called Murdoch murders, a southern scandal. The documentary follows the Murdoch family, specifically the father Alec and his two sons, Paul and Buster. The series is split into three parts. The first is about the death of Mallory Beach. She fell off the back of a boat that Paul Murdoch allegedly crashed while drunk back in 2020.

At the time of his death, he was waiting trial for three felony charges. The second is about the death of Alec's son, Paul and his wife Maggie. A year after they died, Alec was charged in their murder. The third episode then focuses on other deaths close to the family, including the family's housekeeper and another family friend. It comes as Alec's oldest son, Buster, was called by the defense in the trial yesterday. He spoke on interacting with his father following the murders. It's just so bad.

It's just so bad. What did your dad say? Said they did them so bad. They did them so bad. Was that the first time you'd heard him say they did them so bad? No, sir. Now the video they're referencing has been a key part of the prosecution's case. Some believing it's a confession. The trial picks up again today.

Officials expect the defense to wrap up their case by the end of the week. I watched the HBO documentary, so I'm interested to see the difference in this. And you know after the trial so much has come out during this trial that there will be, I'm sure, another one after that. I wanna wait until the trial wraps up and then I think I'll start watching some of the documentaries and whatnot. Get the backstory then. Thank you.
