Ohio train derailment: Frustrations remain as residents question air, water safety

Tonight, frustration is building in East Palestine, Ohio. Residents are demanding answers after a train derailment that released hazardous chemicals into the air. It has now been two weeks since this happened, and residents say they are having trouble believing that their air and water are safe. Some say they are having trouble breathing and they're breaking out in rashes. I am asking that they trust the government. And that's hard. We know that there is a lack of trust.

FEMA is now sending a team to help assess things. Ohio's governor says air and water tests are coming back clean. But the accident is putting a new spotlight on train safety, with advocates calling for regulations that the industry has long opposed. Fort Worth Police are sending supplies to Ohio. The department posted a video that starts with a truck leaving a loading dock. Hey, this is Chief Neal Nokes. I'm here with 40,000 bottles of water that our officers will be delivering to Ohio because of the catastrophic train derailment and all the people they are facing.

Chief Nokes says they will be posting updates on their truck.
