Quarterback's perspective on the game and offensive performance.

Honestly Assessing Performance

I didn't know I threw the ball that many times. I did see a couple of missed throws from me, a couple of drops from the team. But that's just all with the reps and preparation, going into the season. We're going to continue to build on it, keep taking shots. Because we like to play aggressive, we like to play fast. So just keep taking shots. Just try to find ways to click on all cylinders and just connect with each other.

Explosive Offense

So we can have this offense being explosive. And that's one of his talents. You create those big plays outside the pocket. I think he had 38 rushing yards. But the scramble plays, when guys are coming free on blitzes, obviously we got to look at those and get those things picked up better. But just his ability to create outside the pocket is definitely going to help us. If you're just looking at stat lines, it's not the most impressive.

Unseen Contributions

But like you said, score 300, first four drives, there come a denominator between guys who maybe don't always show up in the stat lines but can still make an impact. Yeah, there's no question. Sometimes your stats always don't tell the true story. You create explosive plays. If you can score points however you need to score points, that's what we've got to do. So that's where it was at. We got to go back and clean these things up though.

Reflecting on the game and looking forward to improvements in the team's performance.
