Peloton recalls 2.2M bikes

Major recall of a very popular and expensive piece of exercise equipment. The US government says stop using your Peloton exercise bike immediately. Natalie back now with the issue net. And for folks who might want to stop exercising maybe this isn't so bad. But more than 2 million bikes are being recalled due to a defect with the seat post. The recall impacts bikes with model number PL01. They were sold between January 2018 and May of this year.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says it has received at least 35 reports of people falling off of their bikes. Resulting in 13 injuries including a fractured wrist, cuts and bruises. Owners of the recalled bikes are advised to call Peloton for a free repair. The company is offering a free seat post replacement but you'll have to install it yourself. Corey.
