Country music star Jimmie Allen sued for sexual assault and abuse l GMA
Now that country music star Jimmy Allen is being sued for sexual assault and abuse by his former manager, Marco Morgan here with the details. Good morning to Marco. George, good morning to you. Overnight, country music star Jimmy Allen's management company dropped him after a sexual assault lawsuit filed by his former manager. And as soon Alan says, there is no truth to you whatsoever. This morning, country music star Jimmy Allen facing explosive allegations from his former manager who filed suit anonymously. Jane Doe's filing claims the Grammy nominated singer sexually harassed plaintiff openly and publicly by making comments about her status as a single female, her innocence and how hot she looked.
He did so from the stage in front of the production crew and public audiences. Alan, the 2021 CMA new artist of the year has been a fixture at country music's biggest award shows, co-hosting the 2022 ACM Awards with Dolly Parton. He just finished a tour opening for Carrie Underwood. But behind these career making moments, his day to day manager says she was subject to assault and threats to stay silent. Filing documents, state Jane Doe began working for wide open music in 2020, assigned to Alan, whom she says sexually abused her at red lights in green rooms on airplanes and in other places. She was required to be to support him at events when driving him to professional engagement. He allegedly even went so far as videotaping to Blackmailer.
The singer-songwriter admits the extra marital affair but says during the nearly two years it went on, she never once accused me of any wrongdoing. And she spoke of our relationship and friendship as being something she wanted to continue indefinitely. Only after things ended between us, did she hire a lawyer to reach out and ask for money, which leads me to question her motives. Jimmy Allen was scheduled to be the keynote speaker at Delaware State University's graduation today. The artist canceled shortly after the news broke of the lawsuit.
