Vanessa Bryant settles crash site photos suit for nearly $29 million with Los Angeles County

Welcome back to get up DC. Let's get a quick chat on some of the morning's top stories now. Kobe Bryant's widow Vanessa Bryant has reached a settlement with Los Angeles County. The $30 million deal ends a long legal battle over graphic photographs from the 2020 helicopter crash. Kobe, their daughter, Gianna and seven others were killed in that crash. The pictures were shared by sheriff's deputies Bryant and a co-plaintive who lost a spouse and daughter will share the money. The LA County Board of Supervisors says this resolves all pending and future claims.
