How much bottled water do you need during the Philly water advisory?



the reassurance from city officials that tap water is still safe to drink for now. People are still buying up bottled water, emptying store shelves quickly. So how much bottled water do people need to ride out this water crisis? Jasmine Payeud has more on that. She is live now at a shop right in south Philadelphia. So tell us what the situation is out there this morning, Jasmine. Natasha Good morning. Luckily, there are several cases of water still left at this shop right, but we did stop in an acne before this.

They were all sold out. The good news is that people now have more time to get the bottles they may need. The city says that the tap water is now safe to use until at least 11 59 Wednesday night. The Philadelphia Water Department reportedly received the latest testing results around four o'clock Wednesday afternoon, and they came back negative. Overall, 40 tests have been done by the water department since the initial advisory. All of them negative. According to officials, residents should use the water like they normally do.

That includes drinking, cooking and showering with shoppers. We spoke with say they're just doing what they're told, but they are a little frustrated. Obviously the city is in an upward over water, which I think it's ridiculous, but I rather get it, you know, not needed and he did not have it. Plus I get it from my in laws as well. They're the elderly. So I came and got about six cases. You got to get three per customer.
