He suspected of committing eight felony election crimes including voting more than once and registering a fictitious person. One person was killed and two others are critically injured after a shooting at a mall in El Paso, Texas. The mall is right next to the Walmart where 23 people were killed in a 2019 shooting. A third person was injured but is expected to survive. The suspect in the Half Moon Bay shooting has entered a not guilty plea.

He's facing seven murder counts for the January shooting at two worksites in San Mateo County. A man was trying to steal a catalytic converter from an SUV in Southern California when police say the driver of the car woke up and tried to drive away, killing him. It happened in a parking lot in Palmdale. Three other people came with the suspect and they were all arrested. Two men from Fairfield have been arrested after police say they committed an armed robbery at the same business twice in the same month. Police linked both robberies to 27-year-old JVon Holmes and 28-year-old Anthony Muzio. They say both times, two men walked into the store dressed in all black, carrying guns and demanding money.

Upper Junior High School in Davis was locked down for 45 minutes this morning because of a threat on campus. The threat was quickly cleared but nobody has been arrested at this time. Another Midwest train derailment. This one happened in Michigan just south of Detroit. At least six cars came off the track but there seems to be no fire or leaking from the cars. Officials say there is no threat to the public. The family of actor Bruce Willis announced today that he's been diagnosed with frontal temporal dementia.

Democratic Senator John Federmann of Pennsylvania checked himself into a hospital in Washington, D.C. for clinical depression today. He suffered a stroke last May.
